Cube Tech Apps (“we”) built ScanBee (formerly PDF Scanner: OCR & ID Photo) as a free app. This page explains what information the app handles.
Documents and photos
Everything you scan — documents, photos, ID cards, signatures — is processed and stored only on your device. We do not upload, collect, or have any access to your documents. Text recognition (OCR), translation, and background removal all run on your phone using Google’s on-device ML Kit; your images are not sent to our servers (we don’t have servers).
Camera and photos permission
The app uses your camera to scan documents and QR codes, and reads photos you choose to import. Nothing is captured without your action.
Advertising
The app shows ads through Google AdMob to stay free. AdMob may collect your device’s advertising ID, IP address, and coarse location to show and measure ads, as described in Google’s Privacy Policy and how Google uses ad data. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device’s Google settings. Inside the app you can also watch a rewarded ad to hide ads for 24 hours.
Data we collect ourselves: none
The app has no account, no sign-up, and we do not collect, store, sell, or share your personal information.
Data deletion
All app data lives on your device. Deleting a document in the app, or uninstalling the app, permanently removes it.
Children
The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal data from anyone.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
